Returns & unreachable deliveries — draft

Short draft copy, not legal advice.

  1. If a driver cannot reach you, they record a destination photo and a ping within 300m. The order becomes "delivery attempted" and you are notified at once.
  2. You then have 48 hours from the server timestamp to pay a fresh delivery fee for redelivery. Two failed attempts in total is the maximum.
  3. If you decline or the 48 hours lapse, the parcel returns to the seller and the order is cancelled as unreachable. Your refund is the item price minus the return-trip fee. The original delivery fee is never refunded and there is no restocking charge.
  4. Worked example: you paid GH₵220.00 for a GH₵200 item plus a GH₵20 delivery fee. On a lapsed redelivery your refund is GH₵180.00 — not the full item price. The outbound fee pays the driver GH₵16.80 with GH₵3.20 to Modiola; the return trip pays the driver GH₵17.60 with GH₵2.40 to Modiola.
  5. Want the item after a cancellation? Place a new order; cancelled orders are not reopened.
